The purpose of YAPS is to promote peace, justice and solidarity. We want to contribute to an\ninformed and constructive discourse on human rights situations in the Middle East and to\ncreate connections between young adults and experts in the field.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The basis of our activities is the participants\u2019 willingness and readiness to both study the\ntopics in depth and to critically evaluate information obtained from various sources. When\ntalking about human rights problems in the Middle East, issues in Israel are mentioned very\noften while some religious and ethnic groups suffering from poor human rights situations\nreceive attention rarely. This kind of trend in discussion creates an unbalanced picture of the\noverall situations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
